I started out thinking i wanted to make a painting that was muted in color . I had to stare at it for a long time and about two months of having it in my room i changed my idea completely and added some bold colors.

New Concentration
I started out by thinking i was going to do contour line drawings of portland but i realized that i never am inspired when i forced to do something. It is way too hard to plan ahead for the trips down town and when i am in an creative mood i just want to create at home. I have always been interested in religious figures, icons and controversies even though i am not a religious person. I plan to do my concentration on -Religion. I think this concentration idea will be much easier for me because it is open to using all kinds of materials and styles. My first piece i already started and it is a contour line drawing of the Virgen of Guadelupe (I'm not sure what else i should add so if you have any ideas please tell me, i have a picture of it posted already). My next piece I'm thinking is going to have some writing from the Koran on it.
